Infant & Preschool Aquatics
 
Children will learn the following in this class:
  • Comfortable in the water
  • Able to kick 20 times with help from their parent
  • Blow bubbles for 10 seconds
Children of preschool age are introduced to the water through this course. Parents participate in the water with their children. The class is taught by a Water Safety Instructor. Infants must be at least 6 months to 2 years of age. All children must wear their swim diapers.

Primary Skills
 
Children will learn the following in this class:
  • Put head underwater for 5 seconds
  • Pick up a toy from the bottom of the pool
  • Float face down
  • Float on back
  • Breathing techniques
  • Stand in the water without help
  • Jump in the pool with help
This class is designed for children 3 to 4 years of age.  Swimsuits must be worn for the lesson and no floating devices will be allowed. Accommodations will not be made for participants enrolled in the wrong level.

Primary Skills
 
Children will learn the following in this class:
  • Jump into the deep water
  • Pick up a toy from the bottom of the pool multiple times
  • Freestyle basics
  • Breastroke basics
  • Streamline
 
The objective of this class is to teach students ages 5 - 13, who may be a little timid about the water but are more comfortable than the Tiny Tots Level. Students will be introduced to the front crawl, floating & fully submerging into the water. Accommodations will not be made for participants enrolled in the wrong level.
