Focusing on core reading strategies, the lessons give students the essential tools they need to improve their reading comprehension skills. Through teacher-led instruction that fosters independence, students engage actively with source texts, learning to research for evidence and acquiring writing strategies. Students will practice challenging math questions and learn how to solve two to three step word problems.

VIA ZOOM WRITING CLASS
Students will learn about narrative writing, specifically historical fiction, and then write their own historical fiction narrative.  Students will write narratives to develop real or imagined experience or events using technique, descriptive details, and clear event sequences.
