Power MathTop of Page
The Power Math curriculum is personalized for each student. It combines fun, interactive hands-on problems that require students to think critically and uses traditional arithmetic practice to solidify your child’s fundamentals. This method promotes independent problem-solving and offers an alternative way of learning. As a result, students will build self-confidence, logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and develop a lifelong interest in math. This class is designed for students from kindergarten to 6th grade. Classes will be held in small groups of students of similar ages.

Writing & Reading EnrichmentTop of Page
This course will improve student’s English Language Arts Skills. Through our common core standard curriculum, students will learn by reading educational passages about history, science, fables, etc. In combination with reading comprehension questions that invoke active, critical thinking to determine central themes, meaning of context, and purpose of the literature. Students will also learn to express themselves through argumentative, informative, and narrative writing. This class is designed for students from kindergarten to 6th grade. Classes will be held in small groups of students of similar ages.

ROBOTICS CHALLENGE WORKSHOP
The Next Generation of engineers… With programmable robots created by MIT Media Laboratory and LEGO education, it makes learning fun. This class introduces intermediate level topics in building and programming robots using the Lego Mindstorms robotics system. Students will experience and practice mechanical design, construction, programming, and teamwork skills. This class is great preparation for young engineers interested in robotics competitions at a league level or in joining the school teams.

ROBOTICS EDUCATION FOR KIDS
The hands-on solutions ignite children’s natural desire to explore and discover. Learn robotics with LEGO Education newest technology. Build snapping alligators, race cars, and spinning robots, then program them with the award-winning programming software. Students will learn subjects like math, science, technology, and engineering more effectively while improving and developing their 21st-century skills, like problem solving, collaboration and communication.
